Contest Closed!!

We've all been showered by the media coverage of the royal wedding and boy it did NOT disappoint. The fashion was fabulous, regal, modest and dramatic all at once.  The event was a grand one and restored my faith in old fashion romance...at least for the time being.

To me, the one trend deserving the most attention (because it is not something we are accustomed to seeing on a daily basis, and still has so much impact), was the myriad selection of dramatic and stunning hats worn by family and friends of the royal couple. This inspired me to showcase some of my favorite picks from the wedding, plus some other fabulous hats as well.

    Most glamorous is Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, lawyer and wife of Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg. Most of the hats worn at the royal wedding were designed by Irish designer Philip Treacy (36 hats in total!)

    Very difficult to choose because I'm a big lover of every sort of head attire... one favourite is the second to last one. I do love the last one too, though, because it goes so well with the make up.
