PASSION FOR PATTERN: HOUNDSTOOTH - PLUS GIVEAWAY!!

Sunday, November 06, 2011

One of the most relevant and exciting patterns you can sport for an extra touch of glamour is houndstooth. This pattern is definitely one that has come and gone throughout many eras (I can remember it being so haute in the 80's), and it's officially back.

I was recently gifted a really cool pair of DKNY houndstooth tights ($24) from one of my fabulous sponsors, Knees and Toes and lucky for you they are offering a pair to give away

All you have to do is:

1. Join my site on google friend connect (see side of blog)

2. Like Fashion-isha on facebook click HERE

3. Check out the cool Knees and Toes website and comment here on my blog which item(s) you like.

If you are already a follower in both places just do number 3!

Contest will end next Sunday night, November 13, at 12 midnight.

What goes around in fashion certainly comes around and I love the way you can wear this pattern in all it's glory or just incorporate a touch (like this great pair of houndstooth tights!) to add mega visual impact to any look. This pattern also looks great when you contrast it with a pop of vivid color. Here are some great images to inspire you!

  7. I love Houndstooth! I'm already a follower via GFC and on FB! I went over to the Knees and Toes website and I'm obsessed with the opague tights. I love the solid black ones, but I really like the ones with patterns too. It's so great, especially now that the temps are dropping.

Lots of cute stuff on Knees and Toes - herringbone and argyle tights and...leg warmers..aaahhh...I remember those! Do I dare buy a pair this winter?

Houndstooth is a perfect print that makes a statement all on its own. I feel that its a print that requires just one other color. All gray, red or navy to make a good contrast!
