Before my surgery, I was asked by one of my most fabulous Fashion-isha fans, Esther Barr of Miami, if she could write a guest post for my blog. I was truly grateful because I knew that I might not have the strength to post during my week(s) of recovery.
I'm actually so fortunate to be able to be going Miami for this Passover which will certainly aid in my recovery and keep my family happy (thank you Hubby!!) So although I cannot get out and go shopping now, I can certainly appreciate a peek into some of the styles and trends straight from one of my favorite cities in the world!
Here's Esther's post:
Haute Living (Miami Edition)
A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. – Coco Chanel
I LOVE living in Bay Harbor Islands! The heart of Miami, the world famous Bal Harbor Shops , The Fontainebleau, and the newly built St Regis. It is summer all year round and the ocean is round the corner. I have fallen in love with Florida almost 3 years ago and cannot see myself living anywhere else. The chic of South Beach and I have an endless affair. Miami Music Convention, Bay Harbor Bliss and Miami Fashion Week are just some of the events hosted in this paradise. Of course, fashion is glamorous and unconventional. This is Miami after all
These are my three picks of Miami designers who never fail to impress.
Miami designer Christina Brooke knows a thing or two about unconventional fashion. She has created a necklace scarf. This is such an unusual accessory that will definitely be a HAUTE eye catcher.
Designers Guild has really taken us back into the 80’s with their bold and bright Miami Beach Bag. Yes, that’s how they named it and it is SO Miami! With its 100% cotton canvas and 100% printed cotton lining; it is a try ECO friendly, trendy and HAUTE way to add color to your beach dress.
Sergio Zelcer, Miami based fashion mogul (whom I happen to know personally), never fails to impress with his red soles and sky high pumps. His collection is exclusive and chic and one design is better than another! These are my favorite, red sole, nude pumps.
And here's one of my favorites for a fabulous Miami work look, you can't get much classier than this:
Until next time,

ReplyDeleteExcellent post! I LOVED Miami when I visited several years ago. You feel like you're in another world. Great eating places, shopping, you don't even mind exercising (walking) because everything is so beautiful to look at. LOVE that bag. Hope you feel better girl and Esther thanks for the post.
