Right On Trend with Ruti Horn Plus An Exclusive Discount

Monday, July 16, 2012

Do you ever get confused about how to wear what's currently on trend? Do you have a hard time keeping up with the ever changing pace of fashion? Well we could all stand to take a style lesson from accessory designer Ruti Horn, who is always one step ahead when it come to designing pieces that are completely on trend and truly fun to wear.

Each one of Ruti's pieces have a special edge that make them unique, but still current and wearable. They're so special that even the people at Henri Bendel love them! Ruti will be having her second trunk show at their New York location this coming Wednesday and Thursday, July 18 and 19.

Let's take a look at three different styles from the Ruti Horn collection that truly represent some of today's most current trends:

Trend #1: The Neon Safety Reflector Band

The neon safety reflector band had its debut in August 2011 was spotted all over magazines this season, first in colorful Ralph Lauren ads,  and then featured as a do it yourself project in InStyle Magazine.
Ruti took this trend to the next level by creating the neon safety reflector headband, perfect for the preppy side of any girl:

 Trend #2: Retro Sunglasses

We all know that throwing on a great pair of sunglasses will instantly up our glam factor, no matter what we may be wearing. And who hasn't used their fab shades as a headband, making it the ultimate multitasking accessory?!
Ruti took this idea outside the box and created the retro sunglasses headband. To me this is pure fashion fun! It's smart, whimsical, and still so sophisticated:

 Trend #3: Colorblocking

This trend is outlasting many of the others, probably because it's such a fun and fabulous way to get more mileage out of all you pieces. All you have to do is keep mixing up those colors in an endless variety and you will always look polished and put together.

Ruti kept this trend super fresh by color blocking the turband, which was introduced in October of 2010 and featured in our trend report last April,  and combined the two trends (color blocking and turbands) in a fun and visually exciting way:
The color blocked turband comes in two other color color combos: royal blue/aqua and neon green/pink:
