  2. What I love about couture fashion is the trickle down effect to the ready-to-wear market. I like some of the features of baroque - and that will likely be the right amount of trickle I'm looking for.

  10. It will be interesting to see this look in a more practical sense. I'm not sure I can wear it .. i have to keep things fairly simple and tailored. With everything, there is usually a time and place where some of these elements could be worn.

  11. I really like the Baroque trend in small doses! Like a fun pair of trousers in it, or a top... I don't think I could pull off the head to toe looks like they had in the latest Balmain collection for fall though ;)

  12. Well I might startle people as I venture into Costco, or while feeding our 5 hens, while dodgeing shedding dog hair, again chicken feathers, mud and such, but what the heck it's gorgeous, the craftsmanship beautiful and downright elegant!!! But to buy this on a retail level, it would have to be so expensive figureing all the handwork,Yes I love it and bet you do to, otherwise great pillow material!!!!

  13. i'm actually really excited for this trend! it's elaborate and over-the-top, but i'm sure we can think of awesome ways to tone it down and make it more wearable/everyday.

  14. Love baroque, especially the black and gold and red and gold. Over the top? Yes! But I'd splurge for a special coat or the other special items shown. Not sure how often I'd wear it out but I'd still want to own it!
