Friday Food and Favorites: Chanukah is Almost Here, Let's Sparkle!

Friday, December 07, 2012

Happy Friday! Before I start this post I just want to give a huge thanks and shout out to the designer of my new blog header. Her name is Toby Rubinfeld and she is a new graphic designer who is willing do work for you for a limited time for FREE! Email her here: tobyrubi@gmail.comThanks Toby...I love it, it's fabulous!

Holiday excitement is definitely in the air. Chanukah starts at sundown this Saturday night and I can't wait.  Chanukah is all about lightness overcoming the dark, about Hashem's miracles, and of course, all the decadent symbolic foods (we use pure oil for lighting our Menorahs and frying our latkes and donuts...mmmm). See more about Chanukah in last year's post HERE.

The week of Chanukah is filled with parties, events, games and presents. And we even have a special MODEST MAKEOVER GIVEAWAY in conjunction with Jew In the City's Chanukah Jewish All Stars Launch Party.

You can buy your tickets for this giveaway right HERE.

You all know how I feel about sparkling light, beautifully decorated parties and delicious food! So here are some favorite SPARKLY inspirations to get your Chanukah/Holiday creativity flowing!
