Today we're having a pink party on the blog! Why now? Because we've arrived at Pesach crunch time, and no matter how loud I try to play the positive attitude playlist in my brain, the annoying grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning to-do playlist keeps looping around endlessly at a higher volume. (Not to mention that oldie but goodie...the what-if-there's-not-enough-food melody.)
How have you been feeling?
So I chose pink as the theme of the day to bring us all a little happiness and lightness; and even possibly lower our blood pressure for just a few minutes. How do I know that pink will do that? Because yesterday, during one of my (fill-in-with-an-adjective-that-describes-the-mall-with-your-kids-experience) outings to the mall with my daughter, we walked into a very well known...and very pink store, and immediately felt happy. Soon we even felt a bit lighter and uplifted. Not to mention lighter in the wallet.
But in all seriousness, pink has scientifically been proven to have a calming effect on humans.
So pink it is today.
And besides, it's one of the most beautiful colors to transition your wardrobe for Spring. I hope you have something pink to wear this Pesach! (And if not, just click on the links for some last minute shopping.)

The Rebecca Taylor skirt is my favourite - I realise it's not Pink, but it's so pretty and really easy to work into your everyday wardrobe.
