Just in: Tom Ford AW15

Saturday, February 21, 2015

While attempting to accept yet another tiresome, yet still admittedly beautiful carpet of fresh snow gracing our landscape once again, in L.A. Tom Ford created his own white landscape to showcase the gorgeous and eye popping clothes of his Autumn/Winter 2015 runway show.

Kristin Anderson of Style.com writes:
"Tonight Tom Ford strewed, no, caked his Fall runway in a carpet of white rose petals. It was a choice that harked back to the designer's swan song at Gucci in 2004. The theatrics tonight, though, had decidedly happier origins: this season's pre-Oscars decampment to L.A. "I'm showing to a roomful of entertainers," Ford said postshow. "Of the 500 [guests], 270 were in the entertainment industry. I'd better give them some showmanship. I thought, It never snows in Los Angeles. Let's make it snow rose petals."

Take a look:

Tom Ford elevates the humble denim skirt into a rainbow infused fashion focal point. I'm glad to say that he will be inspring women to dress in knee length (and below) skirts while staying elegant, creative, and bold in style. This is my kind of fashion!

Until next time,

xo Sharon
