THE BEST OF LONDON FASHION WEEK PLUS SOME GORGEOUS (AFFORDABLE) PIECES INSPIRED BY IT

Thursday, September 22, 2011

Ever since I've been serious about creating my own fashion line, and then my blog, I've been following runway shows and learning the business via the unbelievably rich resources on the internet. The head spinning rate that fashion moves in is both completely overwhelming and exciting for someone like me who gets bored really quickly. But it still blows my mind how the incredibly talented designers are able to produce magnificent and creative lines season after season and still have some type of life outside of work. Or maybe they don't.

As a fashion blogger, I certainly am finding myself racing to keep up with the frenzy in the fashion world while maintaining my true job as a Jewish wife and mother.

I guess this is all a good antidote to my slowly emptying nest, but sometimes I still need to come up for air! I think that one of the reasons why there is so much going on in fashion, for me personally, is because the latest collections have so many modest and breathtaking looks that there is just so much to post. The saved files on my computer are piling up!

Here are only some of the fabulous looks from London Fashion Week plus some great street styles too. But showing you the gorgeous fashion collections is not enough is it? Especially during this busy time when the money is just flying out of our wallets to pay for all the necessities of the Holidays. So I've also included some really great pieces at affordable prices (most under $100) that will keep you ahead of the trends all season long!

Enjoy....xo

They totally don't! I've interned for two fashion designers and I can tell you firsthand they do not have a life outside of their work!
