Hey everyone! Did you see my most recent article in the October InFashion magazine?

There were some really great looks and relevant styling tips so I figured I would share the article on my blog. Here it is:

As I write this, New York Fashion Week has just closed and I am feeling freshly inspired by all of the gorgeous Spring 2012 runway looks. Yes...I know, Fall has hardly arrived, and it is still months away before the Spring fashion will grace the racks of the stores. But why not get a head start and take a cue from some of the great trends inspired by the Spring 2012 designs?
As multi-tasking women, we need to customize our wardrobes for all the roles we play. How can we get dressed quickly, look appropriate for work, be comfortable while running errands, outfit ourselves for Shabbos and Yom Tov, all while remaining stylish and classy? Here, I custom picked four of my favorite looks straight from the runways of New York Fashion Week and will show you how to style them for three different occasions.
Look #1: Work
This Carolina Herrera look, featuring a gorgeous graphic pencil skirt, a cropped jacket and a pop of emerald green, makes the perfect uber chic career outfit.

When looking to style your own similar ensemble, try a pencil skirt with a bold geometric pattern and add a bright green blouse or jacket. The cropped shape of the jacket updates your office look for a modern version of the dated suit jacket. To up the glam factor, add an interesting statement necklace and great platform heels. The addition of a platform on your shoes not only looks great, but actually makes walking in heels a lot easier.
Look #2: Running Errands

This 3.1 Phillip Lim look embodies the minimalistic characteristics of casual chic. And that old rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day? Break it! Winter white is a fresh neutral to pair with grey, and the combo looks great for fall. A crisp white jacket in a modern silhouette is all you need to combat the beginnings of a chill in the air. Accessorize with a wide belt or sash and a chic pair of silver flats for the ultimate in stylish comfort.
Tip: Add a bold silver piece of jewelry for a finishing touch.

Look #3: Shabbos and Yom Tov

The first few moments after you light your candles are a time to finally relax and enjoy all of your hard work. This is a time to be both comfortable and elegantly dressed. This Prabal Gurung gown embodies the regal feel of Yom Tov evening dressing. Any long dress with a flowing design is the perfect alternative for a Shabbos robe. After all the weeks of Yom Tov preparations, let your sparkling home be your own red carpet to shine on.
For Shabbos or Yom Tov day, this sorbet colored ensemble by Rodarte is a refreshing way to change up a dressier look.
Don’t consider light colors only for spring. Pair a dressy pastel skirt with a soft sweater in a complimenting hue and accessorize with yet a third dreamy color in a similar tone. As long as the colors are of the same intensity you can mix and match as your eye sees fit.
Tip: Before Shabbos or Yom Tov apply a long lasting liquid eyeliner for a dramatic eye that will anchor your look and keep you from feeling washed out. (For more great tips on making your makeup last click HERE.)
So no matter how busy you may be, you can make your real way into your runway.
