Thank God for fashion.  For that matter, thank God for design, beauty, passion, nature, creativity...everything that brings joy into this world.  Am I a shallow shopaholic? Hardly.  Let's face it, life can be challenging. I wake up everyday and try to face the day with a grateful and positive attitude, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control and just, well, make us sad (or mad). But I am grateful for being able to get dressed and feel great, go out there and find beauty, connect and empathize with others, and do positive actions that give back to me by giving to others. And if you just open your eyes you will find the beauty out there to inspire you and possibly bring a smile to your face.

Some of the  delightful material objects that bring joy to me are gorgeous chandeliers. Yes they're meaningless on they're own, but when you install one and it adds a warm glow and happy feeling every time you turn it on, it brings a little meaning into an otherwise, possibly dim world.
