A fabulous Fashion-isha friend recently requested that I cover Paris Fashion Week. And boy did I enjoy researching and preparing for this post. For someone like me who loves beautiful and refined fashion, I had such a great time going through all the delicious photos of runway looks, street styles and even the best shoe picks from the collections.
As I was going through the photos I realized some of the collections were from Paris Fashion Week of last October, showing the Spring 2012 Ready to Wear looks that are clearly defining the sorbet colored, ultra fem trends coming out now for spring. And, some of the collections are from the Paris Fashion Shows of last week where some of the most glamorous haute couture that I've ever seen was presented (as in the Ellie Saab photos below).
Note: Many of the styles of this season are ethereal and use lots of shear fabric. I personally love these dresses for for their inspirational purposes but would wear them fully lined for a more refined and tznius look.

Love the clothes but I'm with you I would need some lining inside. Keep torturing me with gorgeous shoes that I can't wear....biig feet and I can no longer wear heels, it's very sad.

What a great post Sharon! Loved Ellie Saab's colors and textures, and Stephane Rolland's long dresses with the gold belt, so chic! But I think I am most excited about the shoes for the Spring, your picks look great!

Oh my, this is such a great cover! I LOVE the dresses in the first pic, I'd re-marry (to the same guy of course) in any of them! Loving the shimmering fabrics too, the only thing that didn't quite tickle my fancy is the oversized white coat lol. Thank you for all the lovely and inspirational images!
