Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my first official outfit post. Upon the encouragement of my blog friend Miranda from The Chic Sheet I decided to go outside my comfort zone and go for it.
The theme of this outfit is teal and espresso, a natural combination and often a popular color scheme in the design world. The teal adds a bit of soothing color to the deep tones of brown and is accented beautifully with touches of gold. Leather and fur add the element of texture.
Leather Espresso Skirt: Vintage Ebay. Teal Top: Kiki Riki from Little House of Shells. Faux Fur Vest, Bracelets and Faux Fur Scarf: Forever 21. Gold Chain Belt: Finale Boutique. Booties: Vince Camuto.
I'm all about looking like I spend a lot without actually spending much at all. With a little effort and a good eye you can pull together your own looks for less. For example, I searched high and low for a brown leather skirt but the ones that I liked were completely unaffordable. So I decided to go vintage, and after searching ebay, found this buttery soft leather pencil skirt for only $40!
I want to give a shout out to my fabulous photographer Chani Elle of Elle Artistry, makeup artist and personal makeup shopper extraordinaire. Chani offers airbrushing, lash application and private or group makeup courses. She can be reached at 848-299-2385.
And speaking of saving spending money, the shopping season for Chanukah and holiday gifts is upon us and I'm really excited to share the fun assortment of gifts I've chosen for you in my Amazon boutique!
