NYFW Street Style...You Know You Love It!

As New York Fashion Week quickly approaches again for the Fall/Winter 2013 Collections, I get most excited about the week long parade of the fun and colorful people sporting some of the best street styles outside of Lincoln Center.  I'm actually more intrigued by the fashion that is outside the tents than the ones inside. (I can always catch the runway shows online anyway).

Fashion week is that sartorially splendid time when all the beautiful people in the industry get to dress up and express their most creative selves with the hope of being captured by some blogger's...or even better, a news media person's lens. And the beauty of it all is that it doesn't really matter who you are outside the tents. If your look makes the cut, you'll get your picture taken.

It just so happens I saved a file of street style snapshots from last September's NYFW featuring some of my favorite looks around Lincoln Center. So in preparation for another fun fashion week and just for the fun of it, take a look:





















Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to wear to fashion week!

    GOOD MORNING MOST GORGEOUS ONE!

    My goodness, you found some images here that are speaking to me. One photo where the woman is carrying a fabulous clutch that looks like a satchel is what I NEED NOW! And the sunny background is perfect for such fashions. We are still out here in snow and bone-chilling temps, but as soon as the weather improves, I want to sport some lighter cloths, like I suppose we all do!

    One of the best things about fashion week is realizing that a whole new season of fashion is about to open. Albeit that you will be viewing Fall 2013, it bookmarks the release of fresh new styles that are about to hit the shops. And THAT is always exciting.
