Bang Bang...8 Tips For De-Bang'ing Your Hair or Wig

Friday, October 11, 2013

As you all know I'm a brand ambassador for Freeda Wigs and and love the warm and friendly customer service they offer, the decades of experience in hair and wigs that they possess, and the pristine quality and vast selection of their wigs.

Here's the dilemma. With the change of season, we crave change in our styles and want to update our wardrobes, including clothing, shoes, accessories and even our hair and wigs. And I'm even considering making some changes to my Freeda wig that I love! The problem with wigs though, is once you cut a style, it doesn't grow back. And lots of us cut layers, bangs, side bangs etc...which add lots of dimension to our wigs, but lock us into the same styles even as the seasons (and fashion) changes.

Well for those of you who have cut trendy bangs and then decided to grow them out, you know it can be annoying, but no impossible to get through that transition period. So I was thinking, why not use some of these ideas us to change up our bang'ed styles just a bit, so that when we take them down they'll seem fresh anew.

Here are 8 things you can do with your bangs today...

1. Braid Them Vertically...
2.  Twist and Pin Them...
 3. Band Them...
 4. Bling Them...
 5. Sidesweep Them...
 6. Sleek Them...
 7. Braid Them Horizontally...
 8. Divide and Conquer Them...

Here's how I styled the shorter layers at the front of my Freeda Wig today:

Styling Tip: Don't worry about being too precise, an effortless look is much more beautiful than a perfectly coiffed one!

For all of your wig needs, get in touch with Freeda Wigs today and tell them Fashion-isha sent you...I know you'll be happy. I'm actually planning a visit there myself to update the coloring on my Freeda wig and I know that they will take care of me and my wig with love!

Have a wonderful weekend!
