In Loving Memory of Eyal, Gilad and Naftali

Tuesday, July 01, 2014

In lieu of my regularly scheduled post, this one is dedicated to the memories of Eyal, Gilad and Naftali. We will never forget you, our dear children.
Hamas, what have you accomplished from this atrocity? I'll tell you what I know for sure: You have accomplished a great and powerful uniting of the Jewish people. Am Yisroel Chai. Israel lives on stronger and better than ever.

Dear Jewish brothers and sisters,

All throughout history we've been brutally persecuted and murdered. In our day we live in a false bubble of security and luxury full of creature comforts. We are oblivious that we are still surrounded by a world of brutal hatred against us. We have become bloated with elitism and entitlement. We think we are entitled to 'choose' which children will be accepted to our schools, who we 'choose' to be part of our societies and who is worthy of becoming our friends? Really? We are all one soul. This is what we MUST always remember. Be humble, be loving, and accept your brothers and sisters no matter what. ‪#‎myrant‬ ‪#‎amyisroelchai‬ ‪#‎onesoul‬

To all others, please remember that Israel is the only democratic country in the Middle East. Israel has a right to exist and defend itself against terrorism just like any other nation. The people of Israel would be perfectly happy to co-exist in peace and fairness with their Arab neighbors if they were not constantly threatened by terror. Why so much hate? A world of love and acceptance would be a much better place for ALL of us to live in.

May Hashem comfort the families of these dear boys and all of us who are mourning this great loss.

  6. So very lovely...I agree...we should be able to live in peace and harmony. There is no need to keep this fighting going..too many innocents are being lost and for what!?! Many blessings and love to their familes and loved ones now without them, all of us without them now..as we all belong to each other, no matter where we come from, I wish people would realise this. Makes me so sad!! xx
