What's a Working Mom To Do? Dress in M. Bottiglieri's La Coccinella Collection

Thursday, August 28, 2014

Back in June, I was invited to a fashion presentation at the Hudson Hotel in New York City for a new company called M. Bottiglieri.  I was immediately impressed with the classic silhouettes and high quality fabrics of the collection.

M. Bottiglieri is a luxury fashion brand inspired by the warm emotions and good feelings engendered by la coccinella–Italian for ladybug. Their mantra is, and always will be, clean, luxurious and simply beautiful versatility.

After a follow up meeting with the principals of the company, we agreed that this rich, crisp collection was the perfect fit for the type of women that visit Fashion-isha: women that are looking to perhaps spend a bit more more on long lasting clothing that possess great comfort, style, fit and quality.

We went to work choosing the perfect pieces: a gorgeous rose skirt with modern detailing paired with a crisp blouse that includes the iconic M. Bottiglieri lady bug cuff links, and a classic clay pencil dress; both looks being versatile enough to be styled for day to evening, and season to season.

After a fun and very hectic photo shoot with my good friend Sarah Lasry, and my grandson under foot, I decided to create a fashion story for this post, about a busy working Mom who cherishes finding balance between work and home.

What's a working Mom to do??

We are all so very busy. We want to be there for our families, excel at our careers, and look polished when we walk out the door. I'm a huge advocate for women taking the time to look stylish and refined...of spending a few extra minutes, and dollars, to feel their best so they will ultimately perform at their best.

For me, what sets this seasonless M. Bottiglieri La Coccinella collection apart is the high quality of the ultra fine imported Italian fabric and the detailed made-in-the-USA craftsmanship that is rarely found outside the realms of unaffordable couture clothing.

"Committed to using the best materials available and constructing each piece with artistry and detail in New York City, (designer Salvatore John Vitiello's) dream of working together with a growing family of industry leaders, merchants and marketers to create beautiful clothing, ultimately has brought the M. Bottiglieri brand to life."

View my fashion story below.  In it, I attempt to get some work done while chasing after my adorable grandson, and I am even able to restyle myself with a quick change of shoes and accessories for evening.
